ABOUT SCHOOL
This school was inaugurated on 4th july 1997. Students from nearby villages Pacheri Agar, Aware, Asore, Kudli(Matalwadi), Shivane, Sade Jambhari are being benefited by this school.
Late Shree Padmakar Nimkar known as “Appa” and Dr. Tatyasaheb Natu Smruti Pratishthan and well wishers of the above mentioned villages joined their hand in hand to lay the foundation of this school.This school was started with only 17 students in the house of Shree Kashinath Ghanekar.
The land for the school was donated by Late Shree Padmakar Nimkar. The school building of five rooms was constructed In the year 2000. Construction of the first floor of the building was completed in 2009.
Late Gajanan Janardan Tatha Tatya Vaze Trust donated Rs. 5 Lakhs to this school. The School was renamed as G.J. alias Tatya Vaze Madhyamik Vidyamandir, Pacheriagar in the year 2010.
For the overall development of the students various co-curricular activities are arranged in the school, for example various competitive (NMMS,NTS,MTS,KTS,Vidnyan Ranjan ) examinations. Students are encouraged to participate in Government art grade exam, History teachers association exam, Rashtra Bhasha Hindi Pariksha, Ganit Sambhod pariksha, Krantiveer Parichay pariksha.
Elocution and calligraphy compitetions career guidance, gathering, cultural events, educational trips are organized in the school.
School celebrates national days and birth and death anniversaries of great leaders of India.
Dr. Tatyasaheb Natu smruti Din is observed on 25th July and death anivarsary of Late Gajanan Janardan Tatha Tatya Vaze is observed on 17th January.
The school takes part in various competitions arranged by Guhagar Taluka Headmaster association and inter institution competitions, such as storytelling, essay , G.K., Sports, Science exhibition and MCC drills ect.
The school tries to develops social awareness in the students by collecting donation for the welfare of blind and handicapped people. This project is implemented in the school with help of institutions like NAB and handicapped association, Guhagar Taluka.
Till date nearly 1000 students have passed out from the school. Now in academic year 2017-2018, total 101 students are enrolled in the school.
The school has maintained its quality with extra periods, supervision study, practice exams, Chaturang study classes and study classes in the premises of Aware Chandika temple.
