Establishment Of Dr. Tatyasaheb Natu Smruti Pratishthan
• Inspiration: Late Dr. Shridhar Dattatray alias Tatyasaheb Natu, who completed his education under extremely adverse circumstances and deeply understood the hardships faced by poor and underprivileged people.
• Educational Vision: Dr. Tatyasaheb Natu pioneered the establishment of several educational institutions in the rural areas of Ratnagiri district, Maharashtra, with a noble vision of providing quality education to rural students.
• Establishment: Dr. Tatyasaheb Natu attained his heavenly abode on 25th July 1992. To preserve the noble vision and carry forward the unfinished work of the revered Tatyasaheb Natu, the Tatyasaheb Natu Smruti Pratisthan was established in 1992 in his memory.
• Our Legacy: Today, the Trust continues the noble mission of Late Tatyasaheb Natu by providing quality educational opportunities and support to poor, needy and underprivileged students in rural areas
● Growth & Journey of the Trust
• Established in 1992 , the Trust has made remarkable progress in a short span of time. For over three decades, it has been working with the vision of Late Dr. Tatyasaheb Natu, playing a significant role in the educational development of rural, socially disadvantaged and economically weaker students.
• Today, the Trust manages:
• 5 Secondary Schools • 2 Junior Colleges
• 1 English Medium School • 1 Hostel for Backward Class Students

• The Trust is committed to bringing rural and underprivileged students into the mainstream of education and empowering them with quality education, values and opportunities to face the challenges of the future.
GOALS OF DR. TATYASAHEB NATU SMRUTI PRATISHTHAN -
• Education & Student Support: To provide quality educational facilities and financial assistance to poor, deserving and underprivileged students, including hostel facilities, across fields such as Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, Science, Agriculture, Technical Education and Animal Husbandry.
• Health & Medical Services: To establish and run medical centres and organize various medical and health camps to provide affordable medical treatment, medicines and medical advice to poor and needy people.
• Agriculture & Rural Development: To promote rural development by organizing agricultural guidance camps, encouraging agro-based enterprises, creating awareness among farmers about modern agricultural techniques, and implementing grassroots-level rural development programmes.
• Science, Technology & Rural Life: To undertake initiatives in Science, Technology and other fields related to rural life for the overall development and welfare of rural communities.
• Water Conservation & Water Supply: To implement watershed development schemes in rural areas and assist in establishing piped water supply and other water-related projects in water-scarce regions.
• Social Awareness & Community Development: To organize social awareness programmes and campaigns and support various initiatives aimed at the overall development of rural communities.
• Emergency Relief: To provide immediate assistance and relief to people affected by natural disasters and other emergencies.
