                    ABOUT SCHOOL

There was no secondary level educational facility for the students of mundhar and surrounding satellite villages. eg. Chikhali, Wadad, Kalsur Koundhar and Gimvi.  ‘Dr.Tatyasaheb Natu Smriti Pratishthan’ started Mundhar Highschool in June 1996, in small rental place to provide education to poor and needy boys and girls in this rural area.

Pratishthan aquired land and constructed the school building of five rooms in November 1997. Shri Siddhivinayak mandir Trust Prabhadevi, Mumbai donated Rs. 15 lakhs to the Pratishthan.   The school was renamed as ‘ Shri Siddhivinayak Vidyamandir, Mundhar' on 20th Nov.2000.

Shri Shekar Gadagil donated Rs. 25 lakhs for teachers' training academy. A well - equipped assembly hall for teachers' and vocational  training was built. Teachers training programs are being conducted in this hall. Disrict Education Depermant and Natu  Pratishthan request expert faculties in different subjects to conduct training programs. Many Primary and Secondary Teachers from near by Talukas are benefited  by these programs.

The Pratishthan got the help and support of Bank of India's Star Self-employment scheme. Occupational training programs of Two wheeler and  mobile phone repairing and maintenance as well as fashion designing and   masala (spices) making,  training were conducted for unemployed youths in rural areas.

Other actvites in school -

Celebrating the birth anniversaries of great Indians and make the student familiar with their great work. Arranging Yoga workshop and celebrating Global Yoga Day. Celebrating  Ozone Day, Wild Life week,Universal Blood Donation Day and Universal AIDS Day.

Arranging intraschool sports competitions and participating in taluka level sport competitions, Guidance for elocution and story telling competition, Drawing  workshop and Guidance about individual cleanliness.

Celebration of ‘Tatyasaheb Natu smriti Din’by arranging Oration by expert faculty   and  rangoli or painting competitions.

Arranging different types of competitions for personality development of student, guidance for Elementary And Intermediates Drawing Grade examination, arranging rainy season and educational Picnic.

Forming Parents Teachers forum and guiding parents about the progress of students. Participating in different Social Program arranged by Government and Local bodies.
